FINANCIAL AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The idea of incurring debt can be frightening. Yet, medical bills may be piling up and seem out of control. Our staff of experts will look over your medical bills and provide financial assistance options. For those with low incomes, we may be able to help you get food stamps and additional medical assistance or even assistance with heating bills.
If you qualify, we can also help you apply for Medicaid, to help with the cost of care in your home or at a care facility.
NWSDS also has a small emergency fund to help out when no other options are open to you. Donations to the fund are gratefully accepted at any time and can be made by mailing a check to any one of our NorthWest Senior & Disability Services offices or dropping it by a mealsite location. Please be sure to indicate on the check that it is for the Emergency Fund. Thank you!
